Well I made it through my first day, it went fine and I really didn't mind the change in diet!
I started the day off with a strawberry protein shake/smoothie- and it was quite delicious.
For lunch I had turkey and cheese on one of those deli flat things- yummsville!
Later I had some veggies with fat free Ranch, which was okay, to be honest it wasn't so much the fat free part as much as I'm not a gigantic fan of ranch.
I had some special K dry as a quick snack.
For dinner I had a lean cuisine, which my lovely mother heated up for me while I napped on the couch, school knocks the crap outta you!
I had a WW ice pop and some fruit and called it a night.
For a first day it was not bad, I plan to start yoga on thursday and see about joining the gym this weekend!
I'm gonna come up with a witty outro phrase eventually, but for now, good night!

Wowzers
So I weighed myself this morning and here are my stats:
Weight: 160
Height: 5'5"
BMI: 26.6
Average BMI for girls my age: 14.8-21.7
Goal Weight: 125
Goal BMI: 20.7
I need to lose thirty-five pounds to get to my goal weight by "Swimsuit Season", which where I co me from stars Memorial Day weekend. This gives me 5 months to get close to my goal. I believe in myself and think this is doable. I have gone on Weight Watchers and calculated everything I need to do (I do it online, it's so much easier if you're in school). It has given me a daily allotment of 27 pointsplus. What I like about the pointsplus system and Weight Watchers in general is that it doesn't force you to starve yourself, there are plenty of zero point options for you to indulge in, it's great!
I also plan to start taking yoga classes once a week as well as join a gym, I've got plenty of work out videos for the days I can't make it, I'll probably create a post dedicated to my fitness plan once I get it all planned out.

Brace Yourself
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 3rd, I start my New Years Resolution. Most people would not be very excited, I definitely am no exception, but I'm definitely ready. My resolution you ask? To lose weight, I'm not quite sure how much as of yet, I'll probably calculate that tomorrow (erm later today). I guess all I want is to feel good, feel comfortable, feel the way I should; look at me getting all poetic. But I guess, overall, I just really wanna look good in a bathing suit. I'm aware of how superficial that sounds but for some reason, I was raised in the land of insane metabolisms, everyone I know does whatever and looks amazing no matter what! So I decided to take control and organize my life. Starting with looking the way I want to, and being healthy.
So as my url says I'm stuck in the middle, I'm not extremely over weight, but I could look better. I'm rather short, so my weight collects in awkward places like my tummy, and love handles. This isn't because I have no control, its because I grew up in the era of commercials telling kids to trick their parents into buying them the disgustingly sugary foodstuff they were peddling. So I can't help liking grossly fattening foods. My lack of exercise doesn't help, but I'm starting yoga classes and joining a gym, so that solves that! As for the food issue, I'm starting Weight Watchers, which I've been successful with before. If you're trying to lose weight and you're having a tough time weight watchers is the way to go, it pretty much lets you eat whatever you want!
So wish me luck and I'll get back to you soon!
